| Event Info: | Title: Building web based database driven applications and user interfaces with web2py Speaker: Massimo Di Pierro, Associate Professor of Computer Science, DePaul University Abstract: Web2py ( http://www.web2py.com ) is a GPL2 framework for agile development of secure, database driven, web based application. It is built and programmable in Python. It includes a web based integrated development environment and API to manage data persistence (cache, session, database, cookies). It also includes a database abstraction layer that dynamically writes SQL query in the specific dialect of the back-end database. In this talk we will focus explicitly on how to built web interfaces for existing C/C++ programs including plotting capabilities.
