Abstract:
The Interaction Point (TIP) began as a monthly publication in 1990 and then a bi-weekly newspaper from September 2002 to February 2006, when it ceased publication. Devoted to site-specific news for all employees, it was replaced in 2006 by the daily online newsletter SLAC Today. Starting in February 2006, SLAC Today is emailed to all SLAC employees and users every weekday. This talk will discuss the process of generating the daily newsletter including some of the lessons learned, staff reactions, and staffing issues.
